Quality research calls for networking
The IDIBAPS takes part in many national and international biomedical research initiatives. Science depends increasingly on networking and we need to coordinate the efforts of leading centres around the world. IDIBAPS is fully involved in the new Spanish cooperative research structure: CIBERs and RETICs.

Large research projects aimed at consolidating large European centres. IDIBAPS coordinates 13 European projects and participates in more than 40.

The Catalan government is one of the member institutions of IDIBAPS. Its institutional, political and financial support is essential.
